2020 Chemistry Boot Camp for Prospective Graduate Students
The Yale Chemistry Department’s Diversity and Climate Committee, in collaboration with the Office for Graduate Student Development and Diversity, will be hosting a free, online Chemistry Boot Camp for those interested in learning more about graduate school and careers in chemistry. You will learn about the different types of research and career paths open to a PhD chemist, how to begin getting research experience, and how to apply to a graduate program. Presentations will feature Yale Chemistry professors, PhD students, and alums with live Q&A. These topics will be covered during three sessions on September 24th, October 1st, and October 8th. Each session will be one hour and will address different topics.
The Chemistry Boot Camp is appropriate for undergraduates and post-baccalaureates from all backgrounds, with all levels of experience in chemistry.
If you are interested, please register using the link below. You will receive a Zoom invitation link prior to the start of each session.
